With access to door lock assembly attempt to manipulate both the assembly and the interior door lock.
Open the door lock the door lock the door.
To open a locked door without a key first see if the lock is a spring lock.
Then operate the inside door handle and open the door.
For an interior door that has a small hole in the handle you can use a small screwdriver to unlock it.
Bend the card back towards the frame to force the lock into the door.
Search for a temporary way to open the door and move the latch.
Cut down on disinfecting by setting up your front door to auto unlock and open hands free.
If the locking mechanism is a latchbolt the kind of bolt that is spring loaded and has one angled edge and the angled edge is facing away from you you can hook it with a wire hanger.
Sitting in the car with the doors shut press on the locking switch of the affected door lock actuator.
The final step is by far nothing simple by any stretch.
If the door lock actuator is operating correctly opening the interior door handle will override the door lock actuator.
Just insert the screwdriver into the small hole and press the button on the inside of the handle with it to unlock the door.
If the door panel cannot be opened enough to reach and view the door lock assembly search for possible partial disassembly.
